Note: The receipt also need to use Facebook Messenger, so that the receipt can view those received files from his/her friends. If the receipt uses the Facebook web browser view, the receipt can view only the file name but did not receive the link which needs to open the file.

If not updated, go to My App section in Google Play Store (Android) / click update in iOS app store. Steps:

• In Facebook Messenger, Click on … button placed at the end of the shared options.
• Click on Open button which is placed next to the Dropbox application.
• It will show you a display ‘Messenger wants to open Dropbox’ with options Open and Cancel. Click Open option.
Select file that you like to share with your friends.
• Once you select the files that you wish to share, Tap Send Photo (if image) / Send Video (if clips) option.
